Nina Francis, APCC (she/her)

Nina offers a warm, relational therapy space where you don’t have to perform, explain yourself perfectly, or have it all figured out. She believes healing happens when people feel safe enough to show up as they are—and her work is rooted in compassion, authenticity, and real connection. Therapy with Nina feels collaborative and steady, with plenty of room to slow down, check in with your body, and move at a pace that actually feels doable.

Nina specializes in trauma and complex trauma, and she’s especially passionate about working with people whose past experiences still show up in their body, relationships, or sense of self. She has a particular love for EMDR and enjoys using it as a gentle, effective way to help clients process stuck experiences, reduce emotional intensity, and create lasting shifts—without needing to relive or overanalyze everything out loud.

Her approach is trauma-informed and integrative, blending EMDR with somatic therapy, psychodynamic theory, and client-centered work. Nina is especially drawn to supporting folks healing from childhood trauma, religious trauma, and identity- or sexual identity-related trauma, helping clients build self-understanding, self-compassion, and a stronger sense of agency along the way.

Nina enjoys working with young adults, adults, and older adults, and she is affirming of LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent clients. She often supports people navigating perfectionism, attachment wounds, PTSD, ADHD, anxiety, depression, emotional overwhelm, and major life transitions. Her style is gentle, grounded, and collaborative—with just enough thoughtful directness to support meaningful change while keeping the work feeling human, supportive, and real.
